StyleChef

Terms of service

In effect from 12 October 2026

These are the terms for using StyleChef. By making an account or using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use StyleChef.

1. Who we are

StyleChef (stylechef.co) is run by Muhammad Shayyan Zaman, based in Pakistan. “We” and “us” mean the person or business named here. You can reach us at support@stylechef.co.

2. What StyleChef is

StyleChef helps you catalogue your clothes, plan outfits, find pre-owned pieces on eBay and Etsy, and share looks. Some features use artificial intelligence to read photos, suggest outfits, draw generic pictures of garments and answer questions.

We don't sell clothes. Listings are sold by their sellers on those marketplaces, under the marketplaces' own terms.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account.
  • One person, one account. Don't make accounts by automated means.

4. What you add

Your photos, closet details, outfits, boards, posts, profile and messages stay yours. To run the service you give us permission to store them, process them (including with the AI services named in the privacy policy), and show them back to you.

If you choose to post something publicly — a look, a profile, a lookbook — you also give us permission to show it to other people on StyleChef for as long as it is public. You can make a post private or delete it at any time, and that permission ends when you do.

You promise that:

  • you have the right to add what you add — your own photos, or photos you have permission to use;
  • a photo that shows someone else is only posted publicly with their agreement;
  • a Pinterest board you import is a public board you are allowed to use this way.

We never show a Pinterest pin's own image to other people; a pin appears only through Pinterest's own embed, loaded from Pinterest. If you believe something on StyleChef infringes your rights, write to support@stylechef.co and we will look at it promptly.

5. What you may not do

  • Break the law, or post anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing or that shows a child inappropriately.
  • Post someone else's private information, or pretend to be someone you are not.
  • Copy the site's content in bulk, scrape it, or use it to train a machine-learning model.
  • Try to get around limits, security or access controls, or use the service by automated means.
  • Interfere with the service or with other people's use of it.

Public photos and profile text pass an automatic safety check before they appear, and may be held back or removed. We may also review reports from other people.

6. AI features

  • AI can be wrong. A photo may be read incorrectly, an outfit suggestion may not suit the occasion or the weather, and the assistant's answers are suggestions, not professional advice.
  • Generic garment images are illustrations of a kind of piece, not pictures of your own item or of any listing.
  • Check a listing itself — its photos, size, condition and price — before you buy. Listings change and sell.

7. Listings

Listings come from eBay and Etsy through their official services. We don't control them, don't guarantee that a listing is accurate or still available, and are not a party to anything you buy. Your purchase is between you and the seller, under that marketplace's terms and buyer protection.

8. Plans, payment and renewal

StyleChef has a free plan and a paid plan, StyleChef Plus, at $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year. What each includes is on the pricing page. Plus is not on sale yet. Until it is, every account has the allowances that page lists as “free now”; when Plus opens, accounts without a subscription move to the free plan, and we tell account holders before that happens.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

  • Free trial. You can try Plus free for 7 days, once per person. The trial includes the style assistant and trips, Today's full sets and every Picked for you recommendation; everything else — search, listings, Shop this outfit, AI images and saved hunts — stays at the free plan's allowances until your first payment. You add a payment method to start and are charged nothing during the trial. Before you start we show the date it ends, the price that follows and how to cancel, and we remind you 3, 2, 1 days before it ends. Unless you cancel before that date, Plus begins and the first payment is taken.
  • Renewal. Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price then in force, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel at any time; the refund policy says how. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account returns to the free plan.
  • Refunds. See the refund policy.
  • Price changes. If we change the price, we tell subscribers by email at least 30 days before the first payment at the new price, and you can cancel before it.
  • Taxes. Prices are in US dollars. Paddle adds any sales tax or VAT your country requires and may show the price in your currency.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Plus may be paused until it succeeds.

9. Fair use and limits

The features that cost us money each time they run — reading photos, outfit sets, new AI images, the assistant, board imports, searches — have limits per person, by day or by month. The pricing page gives each plan's allowances; where it says “unlimited” it means as much as one person reasonably uses, within daily limits that stop automated abuse. The assistant's allowance is a monthly amount of use, so the number of messages it covers varies with how long they are.

We may change these limits. If a change reduces what a paid plan includes, we tell subscribers at least 30 days ahead and you may cancel.

10. Suspending or closing an account

We may hold back content, limit features, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk, or abuses the service. Where it is reasonable we tell you why and give you the chance to put it right first. If we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of what you paid.

11. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It permanently removes your photos, closet, outfits, boards, posts, messages and profile; it cannot be undone. The privacy policy says what little remains and why. Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription paid through Paddle — cancel that first.

12. Changes and availability

We keep improving StyleChef, so features may change, and we may add or remove them. We try to keep the service running but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. If we stop offering Plus, subscribers are refunded for the time they paid for and can no longer use.

13. Our responsibility to you

We provide StyleChef with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, the service is provided as it is, without other promises — for example that it will meet every need, that AI results will be accurate, or that a listing will be as described.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, for business losses, or for anything arising from a purchase you make on a marketplace. Our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to the greater of what you paid us in that time and US$50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a change that matters we tell account holders by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using StyleChef after that date you accept the new terms; if you don't accept them, you can delete your account.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Pakistan. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in its courts. Please write to us first at support@stylechef.co — most problems can be sorted out directly.
